About
Nature One is a four-day open-air rave held at Raketenbasis Pydna, a former US nuclear missile base in the Hunsruck hills near Kastellaun in Rhineland-Palatinate. The organisers describe it as Germany’s first major open-air rave, running since 1995, and the official site talks of over 350 artists across 20 floors and around 65,000 ravers, with camping right next to the car.
The 2027 edition is set for 29 July to 1 August 2027. Phase one of the presale has been open since September 2026 through the official ticket page, and the line-up page states that no acts have been confirmed yet. The camping village traditionally opens on the Wednesday, with the main festival site running on the Friday and Saturday.
Expect a spread of styles rather than a single sound. The Century Circus is billed as the home of techno, the Classic Terminal revisits three decades of rave history, the SYNDICATE Zone covers hardstyle and hardcore, and 15 club floors are built between, on and inside the bunkers. The CampFloors, hundreds of self-built sound systems in the camping village, run around the clock. An official anthem is released each year, and the 2026 anthem was Die Welt steht still by Neelix. It is one of the largest techno festival weekends in Germany.
