About AMT

AMT is a club in the basements beneath three S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz, between the Cubix cinema and Berolinahaus, at Dircksenstraße 114. Guests enter through the club's own Späti in one of the arches, where a spiral staircase leads down past the cloakroom to three equally sized areas with different light and sound set-ups. Founder and managing director Robert Havemann, who also runs the Velvet Bar in Neukölln, put the sound first: a Kirsch Audio system with acoustic absorber treatment throughout. After a soft opening on 1 and 2 May 2026, AMT began regular operation on 6 June 2026. Weekends are given to electronic music programmed with different collectives, such as the TON:STEIN night with Voiski in July 2026, and the door works with a digital queue instead of a line outside.

Door policy

From the club's own rules

Entry is through the Späti next to Burgermeister, and the club's directions say to enter only if you are over 21. Instead of a physical queue, AMT uses a digital queue: guests are told on arrival whether they get in, receive a QR code and are called when their timeslot comes up. Door selection is done in-house.
