About AMP

AMP is a club at Am Hawerkamp 1 in Münster, at the entrance to the Hawerkamp site and about 1 km on foot from the central station. Three friends, Enno, Lars and Tim took over the existing AMP venue and rebuilt it with a new sound system and floor design. The reopening was set for 2020 but was pushed back by the covid lockdown. The main floor runs a full Funktion-One setup, and there is a partly covered outdoor area. The programme is techno and house from local and touring DJs, with past guests including Marlon Hoffstadt, Funk Tribu, Klangkünstler, Gerd Janson, Freddy K and Kettama, and nights such as Weird Wednesday. The team also runs the label Panorama Records. House rules ask guests to keep their tops on and not to film others without consent.
