About Ministry of Sound Summer Dance Festival Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise (Gold Coast), Australia)
Ministry of Sound Summer Dance Festival returns to HOTA, Home of the Arts in Surfers Paradise on Friday 4 December 2026 from 4pm, and the organisers have expanded it to three stages across the parklands and lake precinct for what they describe as their biggest Gold Coast show.
Classical, performed live by the Ministry of Sound Orchestra, headlines. The rest of the bill brings Roger Sanchez from the United States, Seb Fontaine, Utah Saints, K-Klass and DJ Paulette from the United Kingdom and Braxe and Falcon from France, alongside the Australian names John Course, Minx and Tenzin with a full local supporting programme.
The premise is dance history rather than current releases: the anthems that built the Ministry of Sound catalogue, reworked and reimagined on an open air site. TMRW Music and Ministry of Sound Australia present it as a Queensland exclusive. General admission at the final release is 169.95 Australian dollars, entry is 18 and over and tickets are sold through Moshtix. HOTA sits on the Nerang River, a short ride from Surfers Paradise and 25 minutes from Gold Coast Airport. For an Australian summer music festival, this is the one that plays the classics properly.
