A3 Festival (Lardner (Warragul), Australia) 2026

A3 returns to Lardner Park in Victoria from 27 to 30 November 2026, a gathering the organisers describe as transdisciplinary rather than as a festival: a committed exploration of new frameworks across architecture, audio and visual media. More than fifty artists play across four distinct environments.

The four environments are the structural idea. Rather than stages, A3 builds spaces, each with its own architectural approach and its own relationship to sound and image, which is why the festival attracts an audience from outside the usual electronic circuit as well as inside it. Chlar’s 2025 set was published in full afterwards, and the festival releases an official after movie for each edition.

Lardner Park is an agricultural showground near Warragul in the Gippsland region, around 90 minutes east of Melbourne by road and reachable by V/Line train to Warragul. Late November in Gippsland is mild and green, which is a different proposition from the dry inland Victorian sites most Australian festivals use.
