Defected Classics Playlist on Spotify

House music has a back catalogue worth worshipping. Defected Classics comes from Defected Records and collects forgotten classics and label anthems.

The names run deep: MK, Dennis Ferrer, Louie Vega, David Penn, Sandy Rivera, The Martinez Brothers, DJ Gregory and Blaze. Among the tracks are “Lovelee Dae – Radio Edit” by Blaze, “God Made Me Phunky (Extended Mix)” by MD X-Spress, “At Night” by Shakedown and “Hallelujah Anyway – Larse Vocal” by Candi Staton and Larse.

The sound is soulful, vocal-heavy house with a real party spirit: think house parties, summer barbecues and the warm-up before the peak. With 100 tracks and a huge 11 h 2 min of runtime, it offers a whole day of feel-good grooves that get everybody singing along.

Anthems you already know. Anthems you forgot.
