Beyond the Valley is an Australian New Year camping festival presented by Untitled Group and triple j. According to the official site, the event was first held on Phillip Island in 2014, moved to Lardner Park in 2015 and settled at Barunah Plains in 2022, a rural property about 90 minutes from Melbourne on the lands of the Wadawurrung and Eastern Maar peoples. The 2026 edition, branded Beyond The Valley 2026 and listed as the eleventh, runs from 28 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, so the festival opens in the old year and closes in the new one.
The bill is led by John Summit, Black Eyed Peas in an Australian exclusive, Skepta, Vince Staples, Ocean Alley and The Veronicas. On the electronic side the lineup includes Armand Van Helden, KI/KI, Overmono, Boys Noize, SPFDJ, Nia Archives, Jayda G, Job Jobse, Ewan McVicar, Hannah Laing, Disco Lines, Odd Mob, Hamdi, salute and southstar. Organisers describe the 2026 edition as an instant sell out, and the only official route to a ticket is the Tixel waitlist. The event is strictly 18 and over.
Music runs across the Valley Stage, the Dance Dome, Dr Dan’s and a set of smaller discovery stages, with camping, Valley Club, The Woods and the Main Street precinct filling the four days. For anyone tracking the Australian summer circuit, this techno festival sits alongside Lost Paradise and Wildlands, which share several of the same DJs over the same week.
