About

Love to be… Festival returns to The Stray in Harrogate on Saturday 5 September 2026 for its third edition, running from 12:00 to 23:00 across three stages. The 200 acre common in the middle of the North Yorkshire spa town becomes a green field site for the day, and organisers expect around 6,000 people through the gates. Production has been reworked for this year with a larger main stage, a new chillout area, an expanded food village and an upgraded VIP garden. The event is strictly 18+ with a Challenge 25 policy, there is no camping, and once you leave there is no re-entry.

Claptone tops the Stray Stage, joined by Sam Divine, Paul Woolford, Mousse T., David Penn, Julie McKnight live, Trimtone, DJ Cash Only, Janika Tenn and Keexx. The Music Factory stage, named after the Sheffield club where the brand began, is handed to Todd Terry, Gok Wan, K-Klass live, Grant Nelson, Paul Taylor, Tom Wainwright, Dale Castell, Aimee, Sinclair and Bongo Dave. VIP ticket holders get the funkyLove stage, where Jet Boot Jack, NRK & Nikki Belle live, Tony Walker, Stuart Pilling, Scott Harris, Nick Ellerbeck, Marc Dennis, Hatty Lovehearts, Mister Jones, Marmajam, Bri Buckle, Joshua Brooks, EmiiYuu and saxophonist Sarah Sax Player fill the day.

The brand behind it started in 1994 at the Music Factory in Sheffield and has been putting on events for more than 30 years, with Masters At Work, Frankie Knuckles, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Basement Jaxx and Armand Van Helden among the names that have played its nights. Reaching this one day music festival is simple enough: Harrogate has its own railway and bus stations within walking distance of the Stray, and organisers point drivers towards the multi storey car parks in the town centre rather than the roads around the site, since there is no park and ride. Just B, a North Yorkshire bereavement and wellbeing charity, is the festival partner this year.
