About Rabbits Eat Lettuce
Rabbits Eat Lettuce returns over Easter from 25 to 29 March 2027, five days of music, art and freedom on the banks of the Dumaresq River at Bushland Hideaway near Texas in southern Queensland. Camping is included in the ticket, which is the standard for the Australian bush festival format.
The Easter weekend date has become the festival’s identity, giving it a five day run that most Australian events cannot match, and the riverside site provides swimming through the hottest part of the day. The organisers publish an official aftermovie for each edition.
Tickets are sold through Humanitix. Texas sits on the Queensland side of the border with New South Wales, around three and a half hours west of Brisbane and four from the Gold Coast, which is the practical arrival point for anyone flying in. Late March in the southern Queensland interior is warm and dry with cool nights. For an Australian bush music festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce owns Easter.
