GALA Festival (London, United Kingdom) 2027

GALA returns to London over the late May bank holiday, from 28 to 30 May 2027, with the organisers putting it plainly: we dance again. GALA has become one of the defining London festivals of the past decade, built on a crowd rather than a headline booking policy.

The bank holiday placement gives three days with a free Monday, which is why the London weekenders that take this date tend to be the ones people plan their year around. GALA’s photography archive, by Frankie Casillo and others, is a large part of how the festival presents itself.

Tickets go through a sign up on the festival’s own site. London needs no introduction, with five airports, the Eurostar and the tube, and late May in the city is mild at around 18 degrees with light until well past 21:00. For a London music festival over the bank holiday, GALA is the one that sells out.
