About Sektor Evolution
Sektor Evolution is a club in the industrial area of Dresden's north, at An der Eisenbahn 2 in the Neustadt district, set in an old factory hall with high ceilings, steel girders and brick walls. Since 2009 it has worked as an open platform for the local cultural network, and it is run by the Sektor e.V. association. The programme covers electronic music in many forms across several floors, an outdoor area and a club garden, with more than 30 residents and a steady rotation of local crews. The club also runs its own label with five release lines, from downtempo through techno to Hardtek, and has hosted the yearly Kunsttage Dresden art days since 2010. In July 2026 the club said rising costs put its future at risk, and it celebrated its 17th birthday on 5 September 2026.
