About RADION

RADION is a techno club in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, in the former ACTA building at Louwesweg 1 in Slotervaart. The brutalist complex was built between 1966 and the early 1970s as a dental clinic and housed the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam until 2010. RADION has been based there since 2014, in former classrooms stripped back to raw concrete, and holds a 24-hour licence. Club nights run on Friday and Saturday from 23:00, usually until 07:00, across the main room and the Bovenkamer.

Sound is central to the club: the main room runs a rebuilt VOID Stasys system with extra low cabinets, while the Bovenkamer uses Prof Sound horn stacks in use since the early 1990s over L-Acoustics SB218 subs. The programme is built with collectives and promoters such as Vault Sessions, Labyrinth, GEGEN and Frenzy, with a run of ADE nights each October. RADION also hosts Techno Yoga sessions, runs an in-house Club Care team and released its first compilation album in January 2026.

RADION has no dress code and asks guests to come as they are. Because it is an industrial venue with stairs, uneven surfaces and a busy dancefloor, it strongly recommends closed-toe shoes, and security can refuse entry to people wearing unsafe footwear such as sandals or high heels.

RADION is an 18+ venue, and some events have a minimum age of 21. Every visitor must be able to show a valid physical ID on request, and digital copies are not accepted. The door team can also refuse visibly intoxicated or aggressive guests.
