About Chicago Social Club

Chicago Social Club is a bar and nightclub at Leidseplein 12, on one of central Amsterdam's main nightlife squares. The building was the Leidseplein Theater, home of the comedy group Boom Chicago from 1998. In 2011 it became Chicago Social Club, renovated together with Casper Reinders of Jimmy Woo and Pieter de Koning and Joris Bakker of Bitterzoet with more club programming. The bar opens from 20:00 most nights, while the club runs Thursday to Saturday. Thursdays host Super Social with throwbacks, R&B, hip hop and house, and weekends bring parties such as Notorious for old school hip hop and R&B, KWIJT and VIBE. During Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 the club hosts shows including Dirty Workz 20 Years, Maceo Plex presents Lone Romantic and Aaron Hibell's All Time High.
