About KRAFT Kingsday Festival
KRAFT brings its King’s Day festival to Amsterdam on 27 April 2027, under the banner the promoters use for everything they do: premium pounding techno. That is the whole brief, and the KRAFT calendar runs several editions a year around it including an Amsterdam Dance Event date.
The promoters work with a rotating set of Amsterdam venues rather than a fixed home, and publish photo archives from each edition along with a SoundCloud of recorded sets. An open call for DJ applications runs through the site, which is unusual for an event of this size.
Tickets are sold through the KRAFT shop, with resale handled by TicketSwap. Amsterdam needs no introduction as a destination, with Schiphol 20 minutes from the centre by train and King’s Day the single biggest day in the Dutch calendar. Late April in the Netherlands is mild at around 14 degrees. For an Amsterdam King’s Day music festival at the harder end of techno, KRAFT is the specialist.
