Introversion Playlist on Spotify

Berghain’s label has a quieter side, and this is where it lives. Introversion is a selection from Ostgut Ton, the in-house label of Berghain, pulling from its sublabels A-TON and unterton as well.

The description calls it heady, explorative techno, IDM and rhythmic ambient. Artists featured include Marcel Dettmann, Tobias, Steffi, Answer Code Request, Ben Klock, Emika, Vatican Shadow, Inland and Barker. Tracks to start with: “Rubbish Of The Floodwaters” by Vatican Shadow, “When Prophecy Fails” by Barker, “Blind Mass” by Tobias and “Init Two – Original Mix” by Ben Klock.

This is headphone territory: dark, textured, patient and more interested in atmosphere than in peak-time pressure. Use it for focus, late nights at home or the comedown after a long weekend. There are 29 tracks and 2 h 47 min in total.
