About Escape

Escape is a nightclub on Rembrandtplein in central Amsterdam, open seven nights a week. The club traces its story to 1986, when two brothers opened its doors on the square, and says it is still run by the same family; Dutch Wikipedia notes the building was the Rembrandtpleintheater cinema until 1986. The main Escape Club holds 1,500 people, with Escape deLux (300) and the Royal Room (250) alongside. The main room runs an L-Acoustics system with A15 tops and KS21 subs, large LED walls and CO2 jets.

Weekends centre on house: HouseRules on Fridays and Brainwash on Saturdays, with Raymundo on almost every lineup plus MCs and live saxophone. Weeknights bring themed nights such as Mondays are Epic!, RMX, Amsterdam Hotspot and Therapy Thursday with DJs on rotation. During ADE 2026 the club hosts Free Your Mind nights with Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten and Paco Osuna. VIP tables and a Dine & Dance package with dinner at Heck's next door are also offered.
