About We Are IT Festival
We Are IT returns to Thuishaven in Amsterdam on 10 April 2027 with The Golden Age Of House 89/05, running from 13:00 to 23:00. The subtitle is the whole concept: a programme built entirely around house music from 1989 to 2005.
Thuishaven is the right venue for it. The site in Amsterdam Westpoort is built from shipping containers and reclaimed material around open air dance floors and fire pits, and the daytime into evening timing suits a crowd that grew up with the records being played.
Tickets are 45 euros plus 3.74 euros in service charges, sold through CM.com. Thuishaven sits in the western port area around 20 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal, with Schiphol 25 minutes away by train. Early April in the Netherlands is cool at around 11 degrees, which is why the festival finishes at 23:00 rather than running through the night. For an Amsterdam music festival aimed squarely at house music’s first fifteen years, We Are IT is the specialist.
