About Shelter

Shelter is the basement club of the A'DAM Toren, on Overhoeksplein at the southern tip of Amsterdam-Noord. Getting there is part of the ritual: the free ferry from behind Amsterdam Centraal crosses the IJ day and night. Down a flight of stairs, the club has a raw industrial setting, a main room and a second area, and a 24-hour licence. House and techno are the cornerstones, but monthly programming also takes in trance, italo disco and afro house. Regular nights run on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to at least 06:00, with the doors closing at 04:00. The house rules are strict on phones, which are not to be used on the dancefloor, and the club is fully cashless.

Shelter always keeps a limited number of tickets for the door, but presale and guest list queues get priority. Resale is allowed through TicketSwap at up to 120 percent of the original price. For Saturday 3 October 2026, tickets were EUR 22.50 to 25 on RA.
