About Panama

Panama is a club and event venue at Oostelijke Handelskade 4, on the water in Amsterdam's Eastern Docklands just outside the city centre. The building is a former power station. Guests enter through a hall with a bar, then reach the club room, a theatre-like space with a balcony and a capacity of 1,050, and the smaller Studio room for 150. The club room runs a Pioneer XY-3B sound system. Panama is open every Friday and Saturday through the year, and the programme is broad: techno, trance, urban, hardstyle, amapiano, live music and 80s and 90s parties. During Amsterdam Dance Event 2026 it hosts Mo Black x La Nouba, Luminosity This Is Trance and a JØASE all night long. On weekdays the building is hired out for conferences, fashion shows and weddings.
