About Club Poema

Club Poema is an underground club in a cellar at Drieharingstraat 22 in the centre of Utrecht, which says it has been running for about 50 years. It opens three nights a week: Poemaandag on Monday is a free student night with live piano and drums playing requests, Tuesday is a free International Student Night with specials for the Erasmus Student Network, and Saturday belongs to MOVE, a weekly night of house and hard house. Themed event parties such as Afterlight, a house night, fill the agenda around those fixed nights, and the club can also be hired for private and business events. Coats go into rental lockers, and there is little or no phone signal and no WiFi below ground. The club is reached by a long staircase, so it is not wheelchair accessible.

There is no cloakroom. Coats must go into a locker rented at the start of the night: EUR 3.50 for a small locker and EUR 4.50 for a large one, and you can reach your things all night.
