About Ghosttown
Ghosttown returns on Saturday 9 January 2027 at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, under the title The Forest of Fear. Dance 2 Eden run it, and the event has a longer history than almost anything else in Dutch hard dance: the 2008 edition is documented online and the series has marked both a twenty fifth anniversary and three decades.
TivoliVredenburg is the right room for a legacy event. The purpose built concert complex in central Utrecht stacks five halls on top of each other with acoustic separation between them, which lets a single promoter run parallel programmes without bleed.
The line up was still to be announced at the time of writing, with presale opening on 24 September. Tickets are sold through Paylogic. TivoliVredenburg is directly beside Utrecht Centraal, which is 30 minutes from Amsterdam and 40 from Schiphol by train, making it one of the most accessible large venues in the Netherlands. Dance 2 Eden publish an official aftermovie for each edition. For a Dutch hardcore music festival with three decades behind it, Ghosttown is the one.
