About Annabel

Annabel is a music venue and club at Schiestraat 20 in Rotterdam, in the Schieblock, part of a former concrete factory behind Hofplein and a short walk from Rotterdam Centraal. It opened on 2 November 2015, set up by Aziz Yagoub and Marc Zee in the building that once housed Hollywood Music Hall, and calls itself the largest pop venue in Rotterdam. The Grote Zaal covers 550 m2 with a 15-metre bar and holds about 1,200 people, the mahogany-panelled Kleine Zaal holds about 300, and there is a café and a 500 m2 terrace. The programme mixes concerts with club nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 23:00 to 04:00, covering hip-hop, pop, R&B, Latin, 80s wave and electronic music. Payment inside is by card only.
