About FarOut Beach Club

FarOut Beach Club sits at the corner of Mylopotas Beach on the Greek island of Ios, inside the FarOut resort, which also runs camping, bungalows, hotels and restaurants. The family business traces its roots to 1977, when Barba-Christos Mykoniatis opened the original FarOut Cafe on the beach; today it is run by his sons Makis and Mimis.

The club is an open-air day-to-night venue, with a large shaded dancefloor under a canopy, two large swimming pools, smaller shallow pools, bars and a VIP area that was renovated along with the dancefloor and poolside in 2019. Parties run every day through the summer. Day-to-day raves are free to enter, while tickets are sold for headliner events. International DJs such as Will Sparks, Peggy Gou and Timmy Trumpet have played here. Guests arriving by yacht can anchor in the bay and use the club's dock.

Day-to-day raves are free to enter, and tickets are only needed for headliner events. Some ticket types are only valid before a set time, and late arrivals pay the difference at the door. VIP tables include wristband tickets, soft drinks, a VIP restroom and a hostess.
