About Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld

Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld, known as CBE, is a nightclub and cultural venue in the railway arches directly beneath Köln-Ehrenfeld S-Bahn station. It opened on 22 May 2010 and now spreads across three arches, including the smaller club YUCA (Your Urban Club of Arts), which opened in 2015 and was partly crowdfunded by Cologne locals. The venue hosts several hundred events a year: club nights, concerts, poetry slams, flea markets and a winter market, plus a beer garden. Its programme leans towards what it calls alternative black music, from jazz, soul, funk and hip hop to house, salsa and reggae, with guests over the years including Seeed, Tony Allen, DJ Premier, Kamasi Washington and Odesza.
