About BIRD

BIRD is a music venue, club and restaurant under the Hofbogen railway arches at Raampoortstraat 24 to 28 in Rotterdam Noord, a short walk from Rotterdam Centraal. It calls itself the Rotterdam stage for black music: jazz, soul, funk and hip hop concerts run through the week, and Club of BIRD opens on Friday and Saturday nights. The club programme leans on hip hop, R&B, dancehall, afro house, drum and bass and UK garage, with nights such as Throwback Jams, Night With Lima and .ACHTERWERK, and guests like Theo Parrish. The venue has three spaces, including the Podiumzaal concert hall and the smaller Boog 3, plus a garden that is open from April to the end of September. BIRD marked 15 years in 2026.
