Soulroots – Voices Of Liberation LP Playlist on Spotify

South African house takes the spotlight here. Soulroots – Voices Of Liberation LP is published by Madorasindahouse and collects the full ten-track release from Soulroots.

The title track “Voices of Liberation” by Soulroots, TroyMusiq sits beside “Vuka” by Soulroots, Soul Star. Across the record you will meet Soul Star, TroyMusiq, Mnqobi Yazo, Toshi, Zakes Bantwini, Muscardo and Chaleee, a cast that gives the album a communal, vocal-led feel.

Running 52 min, it works as a single sit-down listen: a sunset terrace, a slow Sunday, a warm-up set that wants soul and rhythm before the tempo lifts. Deep, spiritual and danceable in equal measure.

Soul first. Rhythm second. Liberation throughout.
