A State of Trance (Rotterdam, Netherlands) 2027

A State of Trance Rotterdam is the two night indoor festival of Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance brand, returning to Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27, 2027. It is the best known live event of the ASOT radio show and label network, which describes itself as the largest trance network in the world.

Rotterdam Ahoy is the arena complex in the south of the city where the festival has been staged in recent years. The most recent edition, A State of Trance 2026 (Elevation), ran at the same venue and was documented in an official recap video on the ASOT channel. The 2027 festival is an 18 and over event according to the official festival page, and tickets are mobile only, with every ticket required to be personalised to a name.

Tickets are sold through Paylogic via the official festival site. The line-up of ticket types includes a regular weekend ticket for Friday and Saturday, a weekend ticket with Saturday early access that includes an Armin van Buuren vinyl set, and VIP weekend options with access to the VIP deck at the Mainstage, fastlane entry and a locker. The official page states that VIP weekend tickets are sold out and that a waiting list is open. Payment in parts is possible through Klarna where available.

The festival site also offers 2 night and 3 night hotel packages in Rotterdam, and runs sister events under the same brand, including A State of Trance in London and the UNVRS edition. No artist line-up for the 2027 Rotterdam weekend had been published on the sources we could access, so no names are listed here. Armin van Buuren is the figurehead of the brand, and the ASOT team usually announces the Mainstage and secondary stage acts in stages through its social channels and the festival site.
