Awakenings EXO Colombia 2026: Who to See, From Len Faki and Ellen Allien to Bogotá’s Own Techno Names

Len Faki, Ellen Allien and Planetary Assault Systems lead the 14-act Awakenings EXO Colombia bill in Bogotá on 4 December 2026. Our artist-by-artist guide, from the headliners to Adriana Lopez and the Latin American names.

Len Faki, Ellen Allien and Planetary Assault Systems lead the 14-act bill for Awakenings EXO Colombia, the Dutch brand’s first EXO night in Colombia, on Friday 4 December 2026 at Coliseo MedPlus in Bogotá. Around them sit Enrico Sangiuliano, Indira Paganotto, KI/KI and DJ Gigola, plus four artists with Latin American roots, led by Bogotá-born Adriana Lopez. Here is who each act is and why they are worth your time.

The line-up is listed alphabetically and set times are not announced yet, so treat the groups below as a listening guide, not a running order.

The headliners

Len Faki

Len Faki moved from Stuttgart to Berlin in 2002 and became a resident at Berghain, where the club’s long sets shaped his patient, physical style. He runs the Figure and Podium labels, and his 2007 tracks “Mekong Delta” and “My Black Sheep” were the records that made his name. Expect a set that builds slowly and then refuses to let go.

Ellen Allien

Ellen Allien has been part of Berlin techno since 1992, when she held residencies at Bunker, Tresor and E-Werk. In 1999 she founded BPitch Control, the label that launched Modeselektor, Paul Kalkbrenner and Apparat, and in 2019 she started UFO Inc. and her We Are Not Alone parties. Her recent work, like the 2020 album AurAA, leans into hard, rave-inspired techno. That is the side of her you will hear in Bogotá.

Planetary Assault Systems

Planetary Assault Systems (Luke Slater) photo

Planetary Assault Systems is the long-running alias of English producer Luke Slater, who first used the name on Peacefrog in the 1990s and has since released it on Ostgut Ton, Token and his own Mote-Evolver label. Albums such as Temporary Suspension (2009) and Arc Angel (2016) set the template: rolling, hypnotic machine techno with no fat on it. Slater has said he wants this music to be “quite relentless, tough and raw”, and in a big arena it sounds exactly like that.

Enrico Sangiuliano

Enrico Sangiuliano photo

Enrico Sangiuliano is the Italian producer behind some of Drumcode’s best-known peak-time records. His “Moon Rocks” EP put all four tracks in Beatport’s techno top 10, and his debut album Biomorph followed on Drumcode in 2018, with “Symbiosis” among its standouts. If you want the big, euphoric end of the night, this is your slot.

The hard and fast end

Indira Paganotto

Madrid’s Indira Paganotto built her sound on a mix of techno and psytrance, a taste that grew out of her father’s collection of disco, acid house and goa records. After releases on KNTXT, including the Lions of God EP, she launched her own label, ARTCORE, in 2022. She has played Awakenings many times, and her 2024 festival set shows how hard she pushes a big crowd.

DJ Gigola

DJ Gigola photo

Berlin’s DJ Gigola comes out of the Live From Earth collective and plays sets that jump between techno, gabber, rap and hyperpop. Awakenings’ own profile says you might hear her mix Madonna out of an old Bonzai record and back into Surgeon within five minutes. Rhythm is the thread that holds it together.

Frederic.

Frederic. (the full stop is part of the name) is a Berlin-based DJ, producer and promoter who manages the Selected crew. Awakenings describes his style as “mental and rave-oriented techno”, with clear trance touches, and he has played Tresor, RSO and Fold. His 2025 EP Rather Be With You on Selected included a collaboration with MCR-T.

Southstar

Southstar is a German producer who broke through in 2022 with “Miss You”, a reworking of Oliver Tree’s “Jerk” that went viral. His newer releases sit between trance and techno, which makes him one of the more melodic names in this part of the bill.

The Dutch connection

Abstract Division

Abstract Division is the Dutch duo of Paul Boex and Dave Miller, who run the Dynamic Reflection label and host their Decode parties at Transport in Rotterdam. Their records are built on hypnotic drones and wide soundscapes that still hit hard on a dancefloor, and their debut album, Midnight Ensemble, came out in 2022.

KI/KI

Amsterdam’s KI/KI came up as a resident at Spielraum, one of the city’s best-known queer parties, and her sets run on trance, acid and fast techno. Her own label, slash, released “Leave It to the Vibe” in 2023 and the slash 010 EP, led by “5 Mins of Acid”, in 2024. She also hosts the New Rave show on Rotterdam’s Operator radio.

Colombian and Latin American names to catch early

Set times are not announced yet, so keep an eye on the official timetable. These four are the reason to arrive before the headliners.

Adriana Lopez

Adriana Lopez is the Bogotá-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer at the heart of the local story. She started in her hometown in the late 1990s, with residencies at clubs including BarC, La Sala and Cinema, and played as a resident at CBC, which she has called the first 100% techno club in Colombia. She moved to Barcelona in 2003, runs the Grey Report label and has released on PoleGroup, Semantica, Modularz and Stroboscopic Artefacts. Her sets are raw, hypnotic and precise.

Confidential Recipe

Confidential Recipe is the alias of Carlos Siu, a producer from Maracaibo in Venezuela who moved to Bogotá in 2018. He mixes rave, techno, electro and breaks, releases on the Rekids sub-label RSPX, home of his Rave Generator EP, and co-runs Kontra Imprint. Beatport named him in its Beatport Next class of 2023.

DIOSSA

DIOSSA is a Colombian-rooted, Miami-based DJ who made her Miami debut in 2020 and has opened for Layton Giordani and Art Department. Her official profile describes genre-bending sets that blend techno, afro house and indie rhythms, so expect the groove-led side of the night.

ValaV

ValaV is a Venezuelan-born DJ and producer based in Barcelona who calls his sound Psygroove: deep, hypnotic techno with psychedelic grooves. His 2025 EP Aner Dypsijós drew support from Richie Hawtin, Kangding Ray, Dax J and Anetha, and he has played RSO and KitKatClub in Berlin.
