The heartbreaking news of Michael Bibi‘s diagnosis of cancer was announced by the famous DJ himself.

Michael Bibi, the fancy British DJ and producer, has revealed his diagnosis of CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of brain and spinal cancer, on his own social media. A few weeks before, he stated that he had been offline for quite a while seeking treatment for tinnitus, where it was then discovered that there was a deeper neurological problem with the brainstem, and doctors were investigating the cause of the problem.

But unfortunately, with the findings and diagnosis of the doctors, Michael Bibi‘s condition was reflected in the music world through his own sharing and words, through his social media.

Hello world, writing this post is a hard one.. last week I was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma. A very rare cancer that effects the brain & spine. Unfortunately it’s moving fast & l to have to stay in hospital starting treatment immediately. Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real & I’m sorry for the bad news. I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me. I will be back stronger for you all. Love Michael Bibi.

Michael Bibi is currently undergoing cancer treatment in a hospital, supported by his close friends and family. While he is in treatment, he will be unavailable for any shows for the foreseeable future as he takes time away to recover.

Michael Bibi has been scheduled for the Solid Grooves residency at DC10 in Ibiza (the next show is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 8. Michael Bibi is not on the lineup). He was also scheduled to play upcoming festivals, including the U.K.’s Parklife and Glastonbury and EXIT Festival in Serbia.

Michael Bibi is currently undergoing treatment. He will not be able to perform in an unseeable future.

Despite the negative atmosphere after the diagnosis, the superstar DJ, who showed his strong stance, shared his optimistic thoughts and received great appreciation.

Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real, and I’m sorry for the bad news, I don’t know what lies ahead. I’m tired, but I know I am strong and I won’t let this beat me. I will be back stronger for you all.

It feels really devastating and heartbreaking, but we remain hopeful and wish that he will return to us as soon as possible with our best wishes.
