Swansea Bay gives the festival a five mile sweep of sand on the south Wales coast, which is an unusual setting for a day event of this size and the reason the name works. The May bank holiday weekend placement opens the Welsh outdoor season.
Tickets run from 35 pounds plus fees for the super early bird tier, with a deposit option available on the later tiers and the balance due by 1 April 2027. Swansea is three hours from London by direct train and an hour from Cardiff, with Cardiff Airport 90 minutes away. Early May on the Gower coast is cool at around 14 degrees with long light evenings.
