Soma Festival (Mount Adrah, Australia) 2026

Soma runs from 6 to 9 November 2026 on Wiradjuri Country at Mount Adrah in southern New South Wales, three days and three nights of music kept deliberately small. The festival opens with an acknowledgement of the Wiradjuri peoples, the people of the three rivers, and treats respect for Country as the first of its stated non negotiables rather than a footnote.

The booking reaches a long way for an event this size. HTRK play, with Piezo from Italy, Simo Cell live from France, Vladimir Ivkovic from Germany, Kiernan Laveaux and Reptant from the United States and deep creep with Mike Midnight. Australian names include Aarti Jadu featuring Weyon live, Th Blisks, Cousin, Dolly, galiba, Ivy, Manfredo Lament, Marley Swain, Max Santilli, Nat James, Nina BC, Pjenne, Selena, Trae Bashford, Unpin and Bridget Small with Nick Ure.

Tickets are sold through Resident Advisor and a detailed information pack goes to ticket holders closer to the date. The organisers publish a set of collective expectations covering respect for Country and for each other, and run a volunteer programme alongside. Mount Adrah sits in the hills between Gundagai and Tumut, around five hours from Sydney and four from Melbourne, with Wagga Wagga the nearest airport. It is the Australian music festival that gets the details right.
