Let Them Eat Cake NYD (Werribee, Australia) 2027

Let Them Eat Cake NYD, usually shortened to LTEC, is a New Year’s Day dance music festival in Werribee, on the western edge of Melbourne, Australia. The next edition takes place on 1 January 2027 at Werribee Park, the heritage-listed grounds around Werribee Mansion. The festival describes itself as an event that explores the union of music and art, and it has run on 1 January for many years.

The 2027 lineup is already live on the official site and lists 19 acts. The international names are Boys Noize, Anetha and Joy Orbison, joined by Partiboi69, Trustee, Shanti, Ewan McVicar, Dean Turnley, Wax’o Paradiso, Chaos in the CBD, Denim, C.Frim and Mirasia, William Kiss, Juicy Romance, Lady Shaka, Jennifer Loveless, Soul Wun, Mikalah Watego and Kirollus. The booking mixes techno, house, electro, UK garage and breaks with a few left-field live and pop-leaning names, which suits a daytime and evening event held on lawns and gardens rather than in a club.

Tickets are sold through Humanitix, and the festival site links to its ticket page directly. The organisers use the same site for news, credits and presale registrations, and updates are posted on the festival’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Because the event falls on a public holiday after a New Year’s Eve, many visitors plan transport and accommodation in advance.

Check the official site for gate times, age policy and transport arrangements before travelling, since these are confirmed closer to the date. The festival’s own site also carries a credits page, and its poster for the edition simply reads LTEC NYD 01.01.27.
