Houghton Festival (Houghton, UK) 2027

Houghton Festival returns to the Houghton Hall estate in Norfolk from 5 to 8 August 2027, four days of music built around long DJ sets and carefully tuned sound systems. The festival takes over woodland, clearings and lake shores, and has become known as a home for underground dance music for listeners who want to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

The lineup for 2027 has not been announced yet. The festival is curated by co-founder Craig Richards, and past editions have hosted Ricardo Villalobos, Ben Klock, Move D, Joy Orbison, Hunee, Peach and Sonja Moonear, among many others. Extended sets and a focus on sound quality have been defining parts of the programming.

Sound is central to the site. Past editions have used bespoke d&b audiotechnik systems in the woodland stages, designed to deliver detailed, powerful audio in a natural setting without compromising the intimacy of the clearings.

Away from the dancefloors, the estate offers more than music. Previous editions have included art installations, Sculpture Garden tours and food from an on-site restaurant, and areas such as The Orchard, Trevinos and The Armadillo give visitors places to pause between sets.

Houghton is held on the estate grounds near King’s Lynn in Norfolk, in the east of England. Plan your travel and stay early, and check the official website for the 2027 schedule, accommodation options and practical information as the date gets closer.
