Freaky Deaky Austin (Austin, TX, United States) 2026

Freaky Deaky returns to the Travis County Exposition Center in Austin on 30 and 31 October 2026 under the theme The Revival, two days of electronic music over the Halloween weekend. The festival started in Chicago in 2012 before moving to Texas, where it has become the state’s largest Halloween dance event.

The site runs four themed stages, The Reactor, The Circuit, The Lab and The Chamber, spread across the Expo Center grounds in east Austin. Disco Donnie Presents programmes it, pulling from bass music, house and the harder end of festival electronic music, and the 2026 line up was still being released at the time of writing after an official trailer went up in the summer.

Tickets are sold through Eventim, and the promoters run an ambassador programme offering merchandise, complimentary tickets, express entry and backstage access to active members of the community. The Travis County Exposition Center is around 20 minutes from downtown Austin and 25 from Austin-Bergstrom International, with the city’s hotel stock and the Sixth Street bars giving the weekend somewhere to go afterwards. It is the Texan Halloween music festival with the deepest history.
