Cosmos Festival (Chapadmalal, Argentina) 2026

Cosmos runs from 27 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 at Chapadmalal on the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires province, a new year festival with camping under the eucalyptus between the road and the sea. One pass covers the whole run and camping is included, which is closer to a week long stay than to a conventional festival ticket.

The programme splits by time of day. Bands play through the afternoon and early evening, DJs take the night, and the days in between carry art and food programming rather than a continuous stage schedule. Past bills have carried Indios, Isla de Caras, Juana Aguirre, La Bomba de Tiempo, El Chacal y Los Alpes Floreados, Cayetano and Ibiza Pareo alongside electronic sets from Ana Helder, DJ Chebo, DJ Karen and others, which spans rock, pop, Argentine folk and club music on the same site.

Chapadmalal sits about 25 kilometres south of Mar del Plata, a stretch of coastline known for surf beaches and low cliffs rather than resort development, and the festival leans on that. Mar del Plata is roughly five hours by road from Buenos Aires and is served by long distance coaches and by Astor Piazzolla airport.
