ANDEREWELT. Festival (Brandenburg, Germany) 2027

ANDEREWELT. Festival runs from 19 to 22 August 2027 at the Autokino Zempow site in Wittstock an der Dosse, in northern Brandenburg. The event caps attendance at around 1,000 people and bills itself on three things in equal measure: art, culture and music, with the programme built around all of them rather than around a lineup.

Musically it is broad. Techno, house and trance share the weekend with drum and bass, indie, rock, punk and hip hop, and past editions have carried DJ Tennis, Job Jobse and Milky Chance. Away from the stages the organisers run interactive art installations, workshops, performances, talks, yoga and meditation across the four days, which is a large part of why the crowd stays small and returns.

The festival has been running since 2021 and keeps a visible sustainability policy: waste separation, plastic free operation, solar power and reusable crockery on site. Accessibility is handled with wheelchair access, accessible toilets and showers and free companion admission. Wittstock an der Dosse sits between Berlin and Rostock on the A24, around 90 minutes by road from Berlin, with Wittstock the nearest railway station.
