Art Valley New Years (Hunter Region (NSW), Australia) 2026

Art Valley runs on private property in the Hunter region of New South Wales from 29 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, six days in the bush two and a half hours north west of Sydney. The festival sits in the Australian bush doof tradition and runs from midday on the first day through to midday on the last.

The organisers have reworked the ticketing after reviewing the previous system, bringing car passes back and giving past attendees a 24 hour priority window on each release round before general sale. That kind of structure tells you what sort of event it is: a returning community rather than a mass market audience.

Tickets are sold through Triniq, an Australian built and supported platform which also runs a resale marketplace. The site is on private land with the exact location given to ticket holders, reachable by road from Sydney in around two and a half hours and from Newcastle in less. Late December and early January in the Hunter is hot and dry with real fire risk, so site rules are strict. For an Australian New Year bush music festival, Art Valley is one of the long runners.
