About Woodstock’69
Woodstock'69 is a beach pavilion on the sand at Bloemendaal aan Zee, at Zeeweg 94, tent 7, on the North Sea coast west of Haarlem. It was started more than 30 years ago by three friends from Zandvoort who won a spot on the beach from the municipality and began with two containers, a beer tap and a football, under the name Foundation Woodstock. Today it is a restaurant by day and a party venue on the beach, with tipis, a bonfire and a relaxed, open door attitude. Resident Advisor describes it as part beach club, part live stage, open every day from April to September. Recent summers brought Hernan Cattaneo at the beach, Dixon with Jimi Jules, DJ Tennis with HAAi and Eelke Kleijn.
