Back To Base Fall Festival (Leiden, Netherlands) 2026

Back To Base brings its Fall Festival to Archeologisch Park Matilo in Leiden on Saturday 21 November 2026, running from 15:00 to midnight. It is the largest production the Dutch collective has staged, moving its outdoor programme from the summer slot at Schilperoortpark to a late autumn date on the site of a Roman fort on the eastern edge of the city.

The announced bill covers DART, Diffrent, Eva Vrijdag, Itz3bby, S3PPA, SAIDAH and STUM. The booking policy runs on house and trance leaning selections rather than a single headline act, in line with the collective’s club nights at Wibar in Leiden and its beach events at Boomerang Beach in Scheveningen.

Park Matilo is built over the remains of a Roman auxiliary fort that guarded the northern frontier of the empire, and the earthworks are now part of a protected heritage site, which shapes how the arena is laid out. The park sits in the Roomburg district, roughly 20 minutes on foot or a short bus ride from Leiden Centraal, and the organisers direct attendees to public transport and bicycles rather than cars. Tickets are sold through the Back To Base site and through Resident Advisor. Other Dutch dates run on our music festival page.
