About Volks
Volks is a two-room club and bar on Brighton seafront, set in The Colonnade on Madeira Drive, a terrace built over 100 years ago when the nearby Aquarium extended its sun terrace above it. The club says it has been leading new and underground club nights in Brighton for over 25 years. RA describes it as an underground venue with regular drum and bass, psy-trance and techno nights, with a capacity of 300. The October 2026 programme includes Channel One Sound System, Sigma and a Tim Reaper b2b Fracture set, and a 30 Years of Volks night with Todd Edwards on 13 November. In summer it also opens in the daytime as a cafe.

From the club's own rulesEvents after 21:30 are 18+ unless it is a private party. There is no dress code as long as you are dressed. The cloakroom charges GBP 2 for coats and GBP 3 for bags, and the club does not hire out booths or tables.
