Techno trains and tram raves are club nights held on a moving train or tram, with DJs, a sound system and bars on board. The biggest in 2026 is the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN, which runs 16 four-hour journeys from Amsterdam Central Station during ADE, 22 to 25 October. Germany’s best known ride is the Techno Train Nürnberg by Haus 33.

Which techno trains and tram raves can you ride in 2026?
Only a handful of mobile raves run on a regular schedule. The table below lists the ones with a confirmed date from the organiser’s own website, ticket shop or social account, checked in September 2026.

What is the 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN at ADE 2026?
The 50:HERTZ CLUB TRAIN is a moving club on a Dutch train that departs from and returns to Amsterdam Central Station during Amsterdam Dance Event 2026. Each journey is a separate four-hour event with its own line-up and ticket, and all shows are 18+.
The concept started at ADE 2024 with 8 shows in 48 hours. For 2026 the organisers list 16 shows across four days, four stages including a new hybrid stage in the middle of the train, eight carriages, six bars, a food bar and a chill-out area called the Recovery Garden. Your host emails platform details before the show and a QR code for station access the day before. By September 2026, 10 of the 16 journeys had line-ups:

Plan it like any ADE night: the train keeps a strict timetable, late arrivals cannot board once the doors close, and missed departures are not refunded. The Lelantus Melodic Techno Train
Lelantus Records has been one of the CLUB TRAIN’s steadiest hosts. Its ADE train with Melodic Room ran on 19 October 2024 as a sunset trip out of Amsterdam Central. In 2026 the Lelantus Train returns on Friday 23 October from 18:00 to 22:00 with Black Box, Dont Blink, Duvas, Gareden, Ginchy, Human Rias, Jono Stephenson, Martin Mind, Osan, Sam Collins, Unseen., Vassmo and Zare. Regular tickets for this one were already sold out in September.
When is the Techno Train Nürnberg 2026?
No 2026 date for the Techno Train Nürnberg had been published by late September 2026: the Haus 33 ticket shop lists its October and November club nights but no train. The most recent edition ran on 8 November 2025 from 14:00 to 23:00, followed by an afterparty at Haus 33 from 23:00, and it sold out with no box office on the day.
The train is organised by Nuremberg club Haus 33 and leaves from the Frankenstadion Sonderbahnsteig, the special platform next to the football stadium. Past editions ran three floors with local and regional techno DJs; the March 2023 train, for example, lasted from 14:30 to 23:00 with Kø:lab, Dominique Lamee, Es.Ka, ABØV and Timm Schirmer across its floors. Entry is 18+ with valid ID, and the train does not wait for latecomers.

Is there a techno train in Berlin?
Berlin has no permanent techno train, but it does get visits. The Train Raves tour by Techno Germany and Overdrive stopped in Berlin on 29 March 2026, after Münster on 27 March and Hannover on 28 March, with an Overdrive floor for hard techno, schranz and bounce and a second floor for bounce and trance. Tickets started at 60 euros, and a 540 euro group option covered six people in a private compartment.
The best known Berlin train party is older. In 2019 the Berlin-born channel Selected hosted MK and Sonny Fodera back to back on a U-Bahn train, a set it published in November 2019 and described as a long-held dream, since the U-Bahn is part of the city’s nightlife culture. Which cities have hosted tram raves?
Tram raves are smaller than train parties and usually run inside a city, which makes them easier to repeat. These are the documented ones.
Augsburg: TECHNOTRAM
TECHNOTRAM is the tram rave people search for by name. It runs on a regular Augsburg tram fitted with a sound system and has sold out most editions in presale, including 17 April, 16 May and 19 June 2026. Its ticket page currently shows no active events. Amsterdam: Reinier Zonneveld’s ADE tram
At ADE 2023 Reinier Zonneveld took a tram through Amsterdam around the release of his album Heaven Is Mad (For You), which came out on 13 October 2023. Dutch music platform 3voor12 rode along on 18 October 2023 and asked him for his tips on surviving ADE.
Rotterdam: A State of Trams
A State of Trams put Armin van Buuren and Joris Voorn back to back on a tram in Rotterdam in February 2024, in the run-up to the A State of Trance festival weekend in the city. The A State of Trance channel published the full set on 15 February 2024.
Munich: the 2014 Techno Tram
Munich had a techno tram long before the format went viral. A party tram with a bar and DJ booth rolled through the city in late 2014, and the aftermovie went online in December 2014. Our guide to the most unique clubs and events has more formats like it.
Seaton, England: Techno on a Tram
In September 2021 the English collective ECHT filmed its resident DJ Silk Cut Jaguar playing a melodic techno mix aboard a Seaton Tramways tram at sunrise, on the south west coast of England. It was a filmed session rather than a ticketed party, but it is one of the most watched tram sets online.
What was the Road of Peace Train?
The Road of Peace Train was a 2002 rave on a train from Pristina in Kosovo to Skopje in North Macedonia, with Serbian and Albanian ravers on board together only three years after the Kosovo War. They set up turntables, played 90s electronica and turned the ride into a statement of reconciliation that is still retold as a founding moment of Kosovo’s club scene.
How do you get tickets for a techno train?
Techno train tickets are sold only by the organiser, usually weeks in advance, and most rides sell out in presale. The CLUB TRAIN sells each journey separately through Weeztix from its own site, Haus 33 and TECHNOTRAM use ticket.io, and resale for the CLUB TRAIN runs through TicketSwap.
- Follow the organiser on Instagram and set a reminder for the ticket drop; waiting for a sold-out alert is too late.
- Bring valid original ID. Every train and tram listed here is 18+.
- Arrive early. Trains run to a rail timetable and do not wait.
- Expect a security check on the platform and no smoking on board.
- Wear shoes with grip: the CLUB TRAIN says its dancefloor moves at 140 km/h.

Mobile raves work because they fix the two things big events cannot: capacity and surprise. A few hundred people, a sound system and a route nobody controls make every ride feel like a secret, which is why they sell out so fast. Our advice for 2026 is simple.
