TECHNOTRAM Explained: Inside Augsburg’s Sold-Out Tram Rave (2026 Dates & Tickets)

Somewhere between a club night and a city tour, TECHNOTRAM has become one of Germany’s most quietly hyped underground formats. Take one regular tram, fit it with a proper sound system, send it rolling through Augsburg after dark, and you have a party whose tickets rarely survive the first days of presale.

What TECHNOTRAM actually is

TECHNOTRAM is a recurring tram rave in Augsburg, Bavaria, run by local event company Vertigo GmbH, the same crew behind the Ravetrain format. The concept is simple and that is the charm: a city tram becomes a rolling dancefloor, the route becomes the venue, and the capacity is a fraction of any club’s. The intimacy plus the moving backdrop of the city at night is the whole product, and it has turned a local oddity into a brand people search for by name.

2026 dates and tickets

Editions announced so far for 2026 include 17 April, 16 May and 19 June. Tickets are sold exclusively through technotram.ticket.io, and if history is any guide, waiting for a reminder is a mistake. Several past editions closed presale well before the night itself, and the ticket page between editions simply reads “no active events”, which is its own kind of flex.

Not the only tram rave in town

Augsburg’s TECHNOTRAM is the one people search for by name, but the format has cousins across the region.
