“A musician, producer & DJ at heart – Ihsa Kent is known for seamlessly weaving elements of Melodic House, Progressive Techno & Organic grooves – delivering a sound that’s both emotive, as it is immersive.

His sets & productions blur the lines between soulful depth & rhythmic intensity, blending cinematic tension & emotion – with a subtle nod to Eastern motifs & atmospheric storytelling.”

Signalling the second hand picked track from his forthcoming LP & also in collaboration with Amir Farhoodi, ‘Obscura‘ sees the pair deliver another cut that traverses genres & it set to connect across a plethora of international dance floors.

  • With the new year now underway, how has 2026 started for you Ihsa?

It’s started calm and focused, which I really appreciate. I’m spending a lot of time in the studio and trying to keep things simple, less pressure, more creativity.

  • Your single ‘Obscura’ was recently released on December 19th, how’s it going so far?

So far, really nice. The feedback feels genuine, and people seem to connect with the mood of the track, which is the most important thing for me.

  • Is AEVOLIA your own label?

AEVOLIA is a joint project between Amir Farhoodi and myself. We run it together—Amir mainly takes care of the administrative side, while I focus more on the creative direction.

  • Taken from your approaching album titled ‘Obscura’, what’s the meaning behind the name?

Obscura is about the hidden side of thingsemotions, thoughts, moments that aren’t always clear or bright. That’s where a lot of the inspiration comes from.

  • With a close working relationship with Amir Farhoodi, how did you come to meet?

Through music, very naturally. We clicked creatively early on and share a similar taste and mindset, so working together feels easy and honest.

  • When will the album officially be available?

April/May 2026. I’m not rushing it—I want it to feel right rather than just finished.
