In collaboration with Monkey Project, Circoloco Istanbul is set to electrify the Tersane Istanbul venue! Since its inception in 1999, Circoloco has remained at the pulsating heart of the party scene. Originally gaining attention in 2001 with its buzzworthy Circoloco parties at DC-10, the brand quickly garnered international acclaim. For years, Circoloco has been synonymous with hosting some of the finest events in the music and entertainment industry, establishing itself as a powerhouse in the party landscape. The iconic clown logo of Circoloco returns to Istanbul on December 2nd, 2023, for a non-stop celebration. Hosted by Monkey Project at Tersane Istanbul’s largest warehouse, the Historical Foundry, and in partnership with Anima, the event features stellar performances by Blond:ish, Joseph Capriati, Map.ache, Rampa, Desiree, and Seth Troxler!

The Lineup: World-Class Talents

Circoloco Istanbul 2023 boasts a lineup featuring some of the most renowned names in the electronic music industry. This year, they are thrilled to welcome:

Blond:ish (Vivie-ann Bakos)

• Canadian music producer & DJ and an environmental activist.
• Founded the nonprofit charity Bye Bye Plastics to eliminate single-use plastics from music venues and events.
• Initially a duo with Anstascia D’Elene Corniere until 2019.
• Released “Lonely Days EP” on Noir Music in 2012, followed by several EPs on Kompakt and an album “Welcome to the Present” in 2015.
• Premiered their debut Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 in 2016.
• Founded record label ABRACADABRA in 2017, a “female-powered collective” for music and art.
• Singles “Waves” and “Aye Aye” were Juno Award nominees for Underground Dance Single of the Year in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
• Played at festivals like Burning Man, SXMusic Festival, and Ultra Music Festival​​​​​​​​​​​​ (UMF).

Joseph Capriati

• Italian DJ and music producer.
• Released his first album “Save My Soul” in 2010 and collaborated with Adam Beyer on the EP “Congenial Endeavor“.
• His second album “Self Portrait” was released in 2013 on Drumcode and was described as a “beautifully melodic dance-floor body of work” by DJ Mag.
• Launched his own label, Redimension, in 2016, and released tracks “Parallels” and “External Links” in collaboration with Beyer.
• Published his third album “Metamorfosi” in 2020​​​​​​​.

Seth Troxler

• American DJ and record producer from Lake Orion, Michigan.
• Known for house and techno, with releases on labels like Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels, and Circus Company.
• Co-founder of Visionquest, head of labels Tuskegee, Soft Touch, and Play It, Say It.
• Notable achievements include No. 1 DJ in RA Top 100 DJ Poll (2012), No. 1 Tech House DJ at Ibiza DJ Awards (2012), and No. 13 of 25 DJs That Rule the World by Rolling Stone (2012).​​​​

Rampa

• Part of Keinemusik, a label and crew of DJs, producers, and friends.
• Collaborations with &ME, Adam Port, Reznik, and Monja.
• Releases on labels like Circoloco, Innervisions, Diynamic, and Afterlife.
• Focusing on production and creator of TEILE, a company for DJ-purpose analog effects.​​

Map.ache

• DJ and Producer.
• Specializes in Ambient House, Deep House, Tech House, and Ambient.
• Member of Diario and The Hands of the Wrong People. Longtime resident DJ of Leipzig’s Conne Island. Part of the KANN label and the Manamana DJ duo.
  Notable releases include Debuted with Giegling in 2015. His work includes a release on Altin Village & Mine, and he has been remixed by Dixon and contributed to the Permanent Vacation compilation series.
• Recognized for his contributions to genres like Electronic, House, Techno Music, Tech House, Minimal Techno, Float House, Ambient House, and Leipzig Electronic​​​​​​​​​.

DESIREE (RSA)

• DJ and Fashion Model.
• Primarily known for African-inspired house music, but her sets feature a diverse range of styles.
• Held a prestigious Rackless Kazi DJ residency in Zambia. Top 10 finalists in the UltraSA King of The Decks competition. Participated in her first European tour in 2021, including performances alongside Black Coffee at Ushuaia in Ibiza and the Watergate Open Air Festival.
• Co-founder of a women-led electronic music movement called Boys Club and known for her unique approach to music.
• Rapidly emerged as one of the most promising house music DJs in South Africa, recognized for her style that blends Afrocentric moods with techno basics and crafted melodies​​​​​​​​​​.

The upcoming Circoloco Istanbul 2023 event is scheduled for December 2nd, 2023. Here are some of the new things to expect at Circoloco Istanbul 2023:

• A New Venue: The event will be held at Foundry Tersane Istanbul, a new and innovative venue in the city’s heart.
• An Expanded Lineup: The lineup for the event has been expanded to include a wider range of artists, from established DJs to rising stars.
• Enhanced Production: The production for the event will be enhanced to create an even more immersive and unforgettable experience.

In addition to these new features, Circoloco Istanbul 2023 is sure to retain the same elements that have made the event a success in the past, such as its vibrant atmosphere, its focus on quality music, and its commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all.

Event Rules

• This event is open to individuals who are 18 years old and above.
• Bringing any form of food, drinks, or items that are sharp, piercing, or capable of combustion into the venue is prohibited.
• Attendees consent to be photographed and recorded within the event premises. Use of professional recording equipment is not permitted without prior written authorization.
• Please ensure that non-professional recording devices do not inconvenience other guests or infringe on personal privacy. Flash photography is strictly forbidden.
• Guests should be aware of their environment and avoid causing disturbances. Event organizers and venue staff reserve the right to deny entry to individuals they deem inappropriate for the event or backstage areas.
• Tickets purchased are for personal use only and cannot be utilized for commercial purposes such as advertising, competitions, or promotions without explicit written consent. Unauthorized use of tickets for these purposes will result in cancellation and potential legal action.
• Refunds for tickets will only be issued under specific circumstances: if security denies entry at the gate or an attendee presents a Ministry of Health-approved positive COVID-19 test result to support@lifetickets.com.tr. Apart from these exceptions, tickets are non-refundable. Lifetickets, acting as a digital intermediary for ticket sales, follows the rules and entry conditions set by the event organizers and/or venue. The ticket purchase agreement includes all refund rules and conditions, and purchasing a ticket implies acceptance of these terms.
• The refund will not be processed if adequate information is not provided to gate attendants for a ticket refund.
• Re-entry during the event is not allowed. Guests who exit the event acknowledge that their ticket will become void. Security teams are required to remove the wristbands of guests exiting the event.
• The event will be monitored with a closed-circuit camera system, and ticket purchasers consent to this by buying a ticket.
