Weekend in the Woods (Podington, United Kingdom) 2027

Weekend in the Woods returns to Wold Farm at Santa Pod from 27 to 30 August 2027, running four days of hardcore and old skool dance music in woodland near Podington on the Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire border. The festival sits firmly in the British hardcore circuit, programming the sounds that grew out of the early 1990s rave scene rather than contemporary club music.

Stage names give the format away. The Epidemik Tunnel Stage runs old skool and happy hardcore while the Woods Stage carries straight hardcore, with the woodland setting doing the rest. Recordings from the 2026 edition circulate online and show a crowd that spans the full age range of the scene, from original ravers to a much younger generation.

Tickets are sold through Skiddle, which also carries the camping options, entry times and site information closer to the date. Wold Farm sits beside Santa Pod Raceway, around 15 minutes from Wellingborough and 25 from Northampton, with Milton Keynes and Bedford both within half an hour. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For hardcore specifically, it is one of the few British camping music festival weekends dedicated entirely to it.
