We Out Here Festival (Wimborne St Giles, United Kingdom) 2027

We Out Here returns to the grounds at Wimborne St Giles in Dorset from 19 to 22 August 2027, running its four day format for another year. The festival is curated by Gilles Peterson of BBC Radio 6 Music and built on a specific idea: platform genre pioneers alongside emerging talent across soul, hip hop, house, afro, electronica and jazz, and let the overlaps between them do the work.

That approach has earned it a reputation out of proportion to its size. The Guardian called it a celebratory weekend of raucous dance and cosmic jazz, Clash reported that the music is strong wherever you turn, and Femi Koleoso of Ezra Collective described it as a festival that feels like a family. Alongside the stages the programme runs wellness, family and cultural activities, including a substantial children’s offering and the Action Station reading space.

Early bird tickets for 2027 sold out, with a notification list for the next release on the official site. Wimborne St Giles sits between Salisbury and Bournemouth in east Dorset, around two hours from London by road, with camping, lodging and accessibility information published ahead of the gates. The 2027 line up had not been announced at the time of writing. For jazz and UK club culture in the same field, it is the British music festival that gets it right.
