About Tante Mia Tanzt
Tante Mia Tanzt returns to Vechta on 6 May 2027, billed by the organisers as the largest electro festival in north west Germany. The festival is staged on the Stoppelmarkt grounds, the site of one of the oldest fairs in the country, which gives it permanent infrastructure rather than a field.
The programme splits across named areas including the Tanzgarten, the Basskueche and the Diele, and the organisers promise hard acts, good atmosphere and the kind of entertainment the German festival circuit calls feucht-froehlich. Official aftermovies exist for 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Tickets are sold through ticket.io. Vechta sits in Lower Saxony between Bremen and Osnabruck, around an hour from each by road, with Bremen Airport 50 minutes away and Munster-Osnabruck an hour. Early May in Lower Saxony is mild at around 15 degrees. For a German music festival in the north west, Tante Mia Tanzt is the biggest of them.
