Street Eat N Beats Festival (Chelmsford, United Kingdom) 2027

Street Eat N Beats returns to Chelmsford on 11 September 2027, running a one day festival that pairs a street food market with a full music programme in the Essex county town. The format is simple and has become increasingly common in Britain: traders selling from converted vans and trailers around a site with stages running through the afternoon and into the evening.

The music covers house, garage, drum and bass and old skool across the day, with the bill drawn from the Essex and east London circuit rather than touring headliners. That keeps ticket prices down and the crowd local, which is the point: the festival functions as a community event with a dance music programme rather than a destination weekend.

Tickets are sold through Skiddle, which also carries entry times, site information and any age restrictions closer to the date. Chelmsford sits on the Great Eastern Main Line with trains from London Liverpool Street in around 35 minutes, and Stansted airport is half an hour away by road. The 2027 line up had not been published at the time of writing. For a one day Essex music festival with food at its centre, it is a straightforward proposition.
