About Save The Rave Old Skool Festival
Save The Rave Old Skool Festival comes to Carmarthen on 5 June 2027, a day built on the British rave canon of the late 1980s and 1990s. The old skool circuit has become one of the most reliable parts of the British festival calendar, and west Wales has its own audience for it.
Carmarthen is a market town of 15,000 on the River Towy, the county town of Carmarthenshire, and a long way from the English festival belt, which is exactly why a dedicated old skool day there fills: the nearest comparable events are hours away.
Tickets are sold through Skiddle, with updates published through the festival’s Instagram. Carmarthen is on the direct line from Swansea at 50 minutes and Cardiff at an hour and 45, with Cardiff Airport two hours away. Early June in west Wales is mild at around 17 degrees with long evenings. For a Welsh old skool music festival, Save The Rave is the one.
