Pavilion Festival (Ayr, United Kingdom) 2027

Pavilion Festival returns to Ayr on 1 and 2 May 2027, two days on the Ayrshire coast over the May bank holiday weekend. Ewan McVicar is closely associated with the festival, publishing aftermovies from his own sets there in 2023 and 2025.

Scottish dance music has had a strong decade and Ayrshire has been a large part of it, with the Streetrave crew from the west coast behind some of the key events. Pavilion has run a Streetrave collaboration day as part of the weekend.

Tickets are sold through Skiddle. Ayr is 50 minutes from Glasgow by direct train and an hour by road, with Glasgow Prestwick Airport 10 minutes from the town and Glasgow International 45 minutes away. Early May on the Firth of Clyde is cool at around 13 degrees with views across to Arran. The organisers publish an official film for each edition. For a Scottish music festival on the coast, Pavilion is the Ayrshire one.
